I improved my writing a lot in IELTS class. When I just started the course, even Task 1 (describing some visual information) was difficult because of my lack of vocabulary. My teacher was supportive giving me essay assignments every day and suggested better expressions every time he checked my writing. I feel Task 1 is easy now!The next step is to improve my Task 2 (discussing a point of view or argument).I am much more confident to take the official IELTS coming next month!
VanWest has various activities, so we can make friends easily. In my case, I usually study English with my friends particularly the speaking part. Having a talk with someone is really helpful for improving my English skills. For this reason, I love the activities such as “Hey Buddy” and “Coffee Talk”. Those give me the chance to speak and by doing so I feel my speaking is better than before, and it actually is!!
My experience in VanWest College is still the best one in my life so far. I want to highlight the closeness between teachers and me. In the class I have fun and learn at the same time. It is very enjoyable and practical!
