The Dublin School of English was founded in 1968 and is one of the leading English Language Schools in Ireland. It is recognised by the Irish Department of Education for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language. Situated in the centre of Dublin i- the school is ideally located for exploring Dublin's cultural and social life. During the summer months other locations are used both in the city centre and in modern colleges in the suburbs. We are a family run business. With the DSE you are not dealing with a large impersonal chain of schools. You are dealing with a friendly team who cares about their clients. We personally organise all the services we provide. English tuition is given by trained tutors experienced in Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). Most of our tutors have several years experience teaching abroad. Video and taped material is widely used during class. An audio active comparative listening centre is available for private study.

My first contact with DSE was in 2009 when I was talking near the river Liffey in the center of Dublin. My English level was elementary because I studied French as a foreign language in school. I remember my first English test; it was a complete disaster: I couldn't understand anything. Six years later, having come to Dublin every summer for 2 weeks, my English is not fluent but I can understand a normal conversation. I would like to finish by thanking DSE, my host family and my Irish friends.

Tuve muy buena experiencia en Dublin School of English ya que tanto los profesores como el staff me ayudaron a mejorar el inglés en todas las áreas. Tanto las clases como las actividades están muy bien preparadas y organizadas. Sin duda alguna volvería otra vez.
