The Intensive course aims at developing your communicative competences in the four main skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. The lessons provide you contextualized grammar and expose you to the local culture. Teachers will assign you out of-class exercises to reinforce the content of the lessons. Goals: To prepare the Participant to approach different situations of everyday life in Spanish for either personal, professional or educational purposes and to develop intercultural skills.

Among the most representative monuments of the city, is the National Theatre inagurated in 1897, a pride of Costa Ricans and historical center commemorating the best national and foreign artists. Besides, it is the central location of the government, universities, and some of the most famous theatres in the country. Surrounded by parks, art galleries, street musicians, and trendy restaurants and bars, you will never be bored! The Spanish school is located centrally to make it easier for you to enjoy what San Jose has to offer! Plus, the distances are short is Costa Rica, making it very convenient to travel around, too!

•The Spanish School in San Jose is located in a quiet and safe residential area between San Pedro and Zapote district, and it´s only within 10 minutes by bus from downtown. The school has 15 spacious classrooms with a maximum number of 8 students per class, a computer room with Internet access, a telephone for international phone calls and a fax machine. The staff is friendly and experienced in teaching Spanish! Besides, they will also show you the habits and way of life of San Jose and make your experience unforgettable!
