BRING FRENCH TO LIFE THROUGH ROBOTICS
Objective of the camp: to improve your French language communication skills while
constructing a robot to compete in a variety of challenging tasks.
• Program duration: 2 weeks from Sunday 20/07 to Sunday 03/08 2014
• Boys and girls ages 12-16, basic knowledge of English
• Camp language: French
• Material: Thymio robot + aseba programming language (developed by EPFL, Lausanne)
• Professional teachers will moderate the workshops. Participants will have the opportunity to practice and improve their English oral and written communication skills.
• Accommodation with other students of their age at boarding school. Opportunity to mix with other students during the activities (sport, workshop, excursions, Europa-Park, etc.)
• All inclusive price (CHF 3ʼ000.- per student)

•Summer language school is from 29th June 2014 to 10th August 2014. Students learn French, English or German according to a standard
•driven, communication
•based curriculum. However, the course offers more than the classical language course: students also have the opportunity to discover a unique country through practical projects relating to Switzerland. Thematic courses are also available : English + Sciences, French + Art, French + programming/robotics. These courses are designed as advanced language courses for students interested in practicing a language through hands
•on science experiments, art or robotics. Experienced native teachers will lead the sessions. In small groups with children of the same age, campers naturally gain confidence and progresses rapidly in French, learning about Switzerland while having fun and being creative. Each afternoon, evening and weekend, campers are busy with sports & games, and discovering the hidden treasures of Switzerland in our private bus, e.g. castles, cities & museums, mountains and lakes, chocolate and cheese factories. Highlights of the camp are a 2
•day trip to Europa
•Park in Germany and our Talent Show where students have the chance to try their hand at various performance and circus skills. Fees are very competitive and all inclusive (tuition, accomodation, all activities, airport transfers).
